Chad Michael Murray's Early Life and Career

Chad Michael Murray was born in 1981 in Clarence, New York. His father was an air traffic controller. In 1999, Murray moved to Hollywood and was a model for Sketchers, Tommy Hilfiger and Gucci.
Murray first appeared on shows such as Diagnosis Murder and C.S.I. He also starred as Tristan DuGray on Gilmore Girls. Murray went on to appear in various movies such as Freaky Friday, A Cinderella Story and A House of Wax.
Murray is most famous for his role as Lucas Scott on the show One Tree Hill, which began in 2003.
In 2006, Murray was named one of People's "Sexiest Men Alive."

Chad Michael Murray has not only gone through girls on the show, but in real-life as well. He married and divorced Sophia Bush after only 5 months of marriage in 2005. Various rumors have surfaced over the termination of the marriage, including infidelity, Paris Hilton and strip clubs. Sophia Bush "refuses to go into details about the break-up but admits she is shocked at the accuracy of some of the magazine articles written about the reasons for the split."
