Karen, what happaned to her?

So whatever happened to Karen, Lucas' mom? When Season 4 ended she had a baby. Where is she now? I saw Brooke is now working out of where Karen's cafe used to be. Maybe I missed what happened. Can anybody fill me in?

It was about time that Brooke stood up to her Mom! It's Brooke's business afte all, and she shouldn't let her mom treat her like that! I hope that's the last we see of her on the show.
